Peel Place Noddle is a well-received holiday cottage in Cumbria, praised for its spaciousness, stunning location, and amenities like a hot tub and open fire. Guests appreciate the property's suitability for multi-generational family stays and its proximity to local attractions and walks. The large garden and views are frequently mentioned highlights, alongside the responsive and helpful property owner.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few mentioned dust and the need for a deep clean in the kitchen, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful scenery, and proximity to local pubs and walks. The miniature railway nearby adds charm, making it an excellent base for exploring the Lake District.

Guests report the beds as very comfortable and the house as spacious and warm. Some minor issues were noted with window functionality and a need for more showers, but overall, the property provides a cosy and homely feel.

The property is well-equipped with a hot tub, good WiFi, and ample space. Some guests noted the need for maintenance and updates on appliances and garden decking, but these did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

While many reviews express gratitude for the owner's responsiveness and helpfulness, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

It was absolutely beautiful to stay in and the outdoor space was just amazing. We had plenty of space and complete quiet around us. Was accessible to all hotspots and we spent all week exploring. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Owner extremely helpful and we would highly recommend this cottage in a beautiful and quiet part of the Lakes.

  • Jim

Well equipped with lots of space both inside and out with stunning views over the fells. The owner, Miles, is extremely friendly and helpful. The local pubs are excellent and would highly recommend a ride on 'Ratty' - the little steam train that runs from Ravenglass to Dalesgarth! We will definitely be back! Thank you Miles A*****
