While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with the property offering a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, with a few noting it was 'incredibly clean'. However, some guests mentioned cobwebs, slow-draining showers, and a need for a deep clean, indicating room for improvement in this area.

The location is highly praised for its tranquility, stunning views, and easy access to local attractions and pubs. It is described as a peaceful area of the lakes, ideal for walking and enjoying the countryside.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the snug room for children. The spaciousness and warmth of the cottage contribute to a comfortable stay, although there were some comments about a TV issue and dated furnishings.

Just the sort of quiet area we wanted within easy reach of the Lakes hills. And a friendly place of a beer nearby.

We had a really good time. The house was clean and spacious. It's easy to start a walk from Goswick Hall. A simple view out of the window shows allready squirrels and pheasants and of course a lot of sheeps. During the night you'll hear the owls calling. It's wonderful!

When we were around children enjoyed exploring the grounds. Jim was also very helpful. We would stay there again!!
