Dale End Barn has been converted into a comfortable and stylish holiday home and is nicely located between Grasmere and the pretty village of Elterwater. Sleeping up to 4 people it is a perfect base for exploring the many nearby attractions and it can be booked with GL002 or GL008 (providing space for 17) if more accommodation is needed for family and friends.

    This cottage is in an ideal location for access to the lake and local walks. It was cosy and had a good supply of hot water. The only downside was there were not enough forks or wine glasses for 4 people.

    Lovely place, ideally placed in a quiet spot just outside Grasmere, very close to miles of walking. The views from the garden are stunning but sadly can’t be seen from the house. However, would recommend.

    Good location overlooking Grasmere, 5 minutes walk to the lake, 3 minutes drive to the village. Comfy beds, but kitchen could be a bit better equipped.
