Guests generally appreciate the spacious and homely Lord's Leap cottage, set in a beautiful location with lovely grounds, ideal for families and pet-friendly. The availability of a swimming pool and play area adds to the appeal, despite some concerns over maintenance and cleanliness.
The cottage received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests found it quite clean, while others reported issues with dog hair, stained carpets, and a lack of thorough cleaning between visits. The overall impression suggests room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with guests enjoying the surrounding area and its proximity to local villages. The estate's grounds are also appreciated for their upkeep and scenic walks.
Comfort levels are generally good, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage spacious. However, some noted dampness in bedrooms and issues with furniture, which detracted from the overall comfort.
Facilities like the swimming pool and games room are appreciated, but several guests reported maintenance issues such as broken appliances and lack of hot water. The gym's additional cost was also a point of contention.
There is insufficient information regarding thoughtfulness, such as gifts or special touches provided by the hosts, to accurately assess this category. Therefore, a score cannot be given.

Not luxury in any way.

The site is ideally located for a holiday with a young family, private sessions in the swimming pool were much appreciated. Unfortunately the vacuum cleaner failed to work - reported to the shop. There was a minor leak on the washing machine when running - not reported.
