A lovely location in terms of the village and great walks. Loved the kitchen facilities which were very well stocked for home cooking. Great wifi. Found some parts of some toys (Lego and some game cards) under one of the settees on the ground floor when looking for an item of ours that had rolled under it. Too many flights of steps for those with a young baby. Not sure about some of the art (painted wooden boards and shed door). House located in a backwater with parking a nightmare to get in and out of. Had a neighbour requesting that we move our parked car from the allocated space on the day of departure at 9.30am so that they could get their own car out which was not great when trying to pack up and go. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

So nice to find rental property with personality in the decor and a bit of soul. Loved the beautiful garden and fabulous views too. We'll be back for sure.

I just sat with my camera looking out over the estuary and saw an incredible array of bird life from from waders, finches, songbirds , kestrels to a barn owl . The garden was beautiful and all the facilities were excellent . The only problem we had was getting to the parking space as our car is quite wide and the lane is extremely narrow but we just parked on the road instead . The other small problem was the neighbour when we were barbecuing She didnât like listening to the gypsy kings and Dean Martin summertime music but the old sourpuss didnât spoil it for us. We really had a great time .
