The house is beautifully presented and in keeping with the style of the property. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable upon available, and then left us to enjoy our holiday. The house was very well heated, with the option of open fires, there were plenty of clean, fluffy white towels and the kitchen was very well equipped. Internet speed is limited due to the location, but more than enough for two teenagers to keep in contact with the outside world. Lowick Village shop and the Black Bull Inn were excellent to have on the doorstep. Our only hestinacy in returning would be the recent change to the property becoming pet friendly and whether this would impact our stay.

The property is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. When we arrived the heating was on and we felt very welcome. We really cannot fault the property or its owner - highly recommended.

We appreciated having 2 sitting rooms with TV's plus 2 bathrooms upstairs. It's handy having a separate utility room with an extra fridge, plus downstairs toilet. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside both at the front with the lovely view and at the back in the enclosed garden with a BBQ. The owner is very welcoming and hospitable - and we hope to return for a 3rd stay one day!
