We had everything we needed to make our stay a brilliant one. Extremely clean, very comfort beds, and superbly equipped kitchen and comfortable seating arrangements in the living room. Lots of attention to detail to enhance our stay, not least the very generous welcome pack, which was much enjoyed by us all. A wonderful location in the beautiful village of Craster with lots of walks from the door. A stones throw from the harbour was another lovely addition to our holiday experience as was our visit the Cottage Inn at Dunstan, which served amazing, delicious food and a great selection of craft and locally sourced beers at very reasonable prices and great friendly service. We will certainly be recommending High Tide House to our family and friends and hope to return ourselves.

But it's also perfect for instant access on foot to the magnificent Dunstanburgh Castle and other fine walks in the area, and in the evenings when most of the tourists depart Craster you have the village largely to yourselves. Everything in the property is in good condition, and apart from some tired pans (always the same in every holiday rental - what do people do to them!) doesn't lack for much. It was well cleaned when we arrived, and there were clear instructions and extra info about facilities and places of interest in the area. Our 2 greyhounds (not the most agile dogs) took a little while to get used to the stairs which were a little steeper than at home, but had mastered it by the end of the week. The included baby gates came in very useful to keep them corralled! Overall it's one of the nicest places we've stayed in, and we'll definitely book it again for next year, and keep our fingers crossed that we get similar perfect weather for most of the week. If I could add only one thing to make it better, it would be an electric car charging point!
