A detached house only 500 yards from Beadnell's vast sandy beach and with views across to the sweeping bay from the first floor. Situated on a quiet estate in the centre of the village, Bar Harbour offers comfortable, well-equipped accommodation, including a spacious sitting room, en-suite to the master bedroom and a large garden. The sandy beach is just a stone's throw away, while the rest of the area offers golf courses, sea fishing, watersports and more. The market town of Alnwick, with its famous castle and gardens, is a short drive away, while Seahouses, Holy Island and the rest of the glorious Heritage Coast are on the doorstep, waiting to be discovered.
Situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline, this attractive and peaceful harbour village is a well-placed spot for anyone looking to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday. Once an important Saxon fishing village and later a haven for smugglers, Beadnell is somewhat more tranquil these days and is popular amongst holiday makers for its sandy beaches, village shop and pubs, which serve food. With another renowned village nearby â Seahouses â the range of local amenities increases to include a supermarket and various restaurants as well as boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands. These small outcrops are famed amongst bird watchers for their wealth of species. However, if you're looking for a more urban environment Bamburgh is close by, as is the market town of Alnwick.

Its a South West facing garden and was lovely sitting out on the ample garden furniture enjoying the sunshine knowing the dogs couldn't escape. House has very good water pressure for the showers, heating was very quick to come on. The house has everything you'd need for a holiday. We will be back.

It has a good home from home feeling and was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We even had a lovely new double oven fitted during our stay. This was our fifth visit to the property and we have thoroughly enjoyed all our stays. The garden is a good size and very secure for dogs and children. Another fabulous holiday in a great house!

We had lovely weather so we were able to use the garden as well and appreciated the comfortable outside furniture. Some of the crockery in the kitchen could do with replacing and I would recommend hanging space and a mirror in the twin room. Overall though, it's a good house with plenty of space.
