Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

The house is well equipped and having a third toilet downstairs was a real bonus especially when we had 6 adults for part of the week. It is perfectly positioned to see many beautiful places. Our longest drive was 40 minutes to Holy Island. The beaches are spectacular. The local one, a short drive (but with a paying car park) was a 40 minute walk away. Perfect for a dog walk and swim! The garden is perfect for a dog and the downstairs is fully laminate flooring so easy to keep clean. The local Coop is very convenient but larger shots are only 10 minutes drive away. The two double beds were very comfortable, the only negative is that the comfort of the two single beds was not great. Both showers were really good. The house is on a quiet cul de sac and the parking spaces were very convenient and large. This was our first time in Northumberland and I would definitely consider coming back to Sugar Sands again, especially if the sun is going to shine as much as it did during our week!

I confess to bring disappointed initially as the house is on a housing estate. The impression is given that it is close to the sea but it's three quarters of an hour's walk away. With 2 small children and a disabled grandfather, this meant we had to take the car. And parking fees are now in place with an app which simply doesn't work.
