Explore the history of the magnificent castle ruins, browse the independent shops and galleries in the village and enjoy a picnic on the sandy beach. There is a good choice of pubs and restaurants to choose from and a golf course with stunning sea views. Walk along the river to the nearby Amble Marina and watch the fishing boats land their catch, eat at the renowned seafood restaurants, walk around the pier, and visit the ice cream parlour for treats.
