The standard of the interior was very good, you could tell the owners went the extra mile with the furnishings and ornaments. I did have worries about parking initially (neighbour with over zealous signage) but in the end there were no issues. The location was very handy for local amenities. Amble was a very pleasant surprise for me, I knew little about the town prior to our stay but it turned out to be a great location.

The cottage itself is within walking distance of the sea, harbour, shop, pub and chip shop, and centrally placed for visiting the surrounding area. We found the cottage really comfortable, clean and cosy, and we loved the decor. All our holiday needs were catered for, even our two dogs had bowls and towels provided! It was our first time in Northumberland, and we wouldnât hesitate in recommending staying in Seashell Cottage.
