Driftwood of Newton is a well-regarded cottage, praised for its prime location near beaches and local amenities. Guests appreciate its dog-friendly policy, spaciousness, and well-equipped nature. The property offers a comfortable stay with a secure garden, though some minor maintenance issues are noted. It is an ideal base for exploring Northumberland's coast.

The reviews consistently mention that the property is clean and well-kept. One mention of a high lawn suggests a slight deduction for outdoor maintenance.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, local pubs, and attractions, making it an ideal spot for holidaymakers looking to explore the area.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with plenty of space for families and dogs. Comfortable beds and a well-equipped living area contribute to a pleasant stay, though the single shower required some guests to organise their routines.

The property is described as well-equipped and accommodating. However, some reviews mention a leaking shower and a tap issue, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Driftwood cottage is in an ideal location for walking to the beach, and almost next door to The Joiner’s Arms. The house was comfortable, and the secure garden great for our dog. The downstairs living area had plenty of room for 5 of us, but only one shower took some organising!
