Rosedale Lodge is a well-appointed cottage in Alnmouth, praised for its location and high-standard interior. Guests appreciate its proximity to the village, beach, and local amenities. While some guests have concerns about parking, garden access for pets, and ongoing building works, the property remains recommended for its cleanliness, comfort, and the welcoming atmosphere it provides.
Cleanliness is generally good, with the property described as clean by several guests. However, there are mentions of crumbs and hair in the kitchen, which suggests room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its convenience to the village, beach, and local transport, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests found the beds comfortable and the house cosy, others reported poor sleep quality due to uncomfortable mattresses.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being well-equipped. However, concerns about parking, misleading garden descriptions, and maintenance issues during building works have affected the score.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property owner towards the guests, so a score cannot be provided.

Owner knew we had a dog but no fenced in safe dog area. No help to clear sudden snow, believe the owner stays very near and should have helped to clear the ice rink outside the door. Will definitely be back to Alnmouth but to a single level with dog area property
Sandra
We had fabulous weather this year which made the break even better. The whole area is stunning and so much less busy than Cornwall. The fact that dogs are welcome pretty much everywhere was also a huge bonus
Caroline
The house was well equipped and the decor was good. We found the beds comfortable, the house was cosy and warm. We didnât take our dogs as planned because of lack of garden but that was our choice.
