Hazonleigh is a well-received holiday cottage in Seahouses, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and prime location close to beaches and town conveniences. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and the property's suitability for families, though some mention a small fridge size. The presence of vocal dogs next door is noted, but most found this a minor issue. The property's thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, add to the pleasant experience, although these are not guaranteed for every stay.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotless' and 'clean'. There are a few isolated comments about minor cleaning oversights, but these do not detract significantly from the overall perception of a well-maintained property.
The location is highly praised for being central and close to local amenities, shops, and the beach, making it an ideal base for exploring Seahouses and the surrounding area. The convenience of the location is a standout feature in guest reviews.
Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a cosy living space. Some guests noted issues with the size of the fridge for families and the inconvenience of a downstairs bathroom, which slightly affected the comfort score.
The property is well-equipped with modern facilities, though there are comments about the small fridge and parking challenges for larger vehicles. The presence of vocal dogs next door is mentioned, but it's not a facility issue directly related to the property itself.
While guests mention welcome packs and appreciate the thoughtful touches, there is not enough consistent detail across the reviews to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed for every stay.

Lovely touch with biscuits, milk & hot chocolate one thing I would add the stair gate to stop the dog going up stairs I would invest in a retractable one as the one supplied one knock and it fell down

On arrival we found dirty towels in the hallway. The downstairs shower didnât look clean so we all used the upstairs one. There were dog hairs in the dining room area which hadnât been vacuumed. Unsure if the bedrooms had been vacuumed as we found a couple of dead bugs on the carpets. The property could also do with a proper freezer. The beds were comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. The kitchen was small but had plenty of crockery and glasses.
