Piggyback Cottage in Warkworth is a home-from-home. We have been to this cottage a number of times and we are never ever disappointed. Carla is a wonderful hostess. Cleanliness is excellent as are the welcome baskets. We enjoyed picturesque walks along the river to the village.

This is our third annual visit to the lovely Piggyback Cottage. We just love it here and feel right at home as soon as we arrive. There are so many lovely places to visit we really need to stay longer. Thank you again Carla for making us feel so welcome.

Thank you so much Carla for a wonderful stay, this is our 3rd time and it feels like you are being met by old friends. As always Piggyback is lovely and welcoming. The welcome baskets are brilliant, especially the scones with the surprise in the fridge of jam, cream & strawberries. This was our first visit without Gracie and your sympathy and understanding were much appreciated. We had wonderful walks at Druridge Bay, Bamburgh, Alnmouth and Warkworth beaches, despite the sea fret making regular appearances. A visit to Cragside which was great fun walking around the grounds even though we got slightly damp there was always a warm welcome home at Piggyback. Looking forward to seeing you next year. A great big thank you from Elle for the treats and fussing she was so chilled out after all the fun on the beaches.
