Perched high above the banks of the River Esk just a mile out of Longtown, Esk Escape is a fabulous secluded shepherds hut, ideal for a romantic getaway. Couples can relax and unwind on the side-by-side loungers in the 2 person hot tub, which is undercover, and be wowed spectacular views up the river towards Langholm and the Scottish Borders, along with the abundance of wildlife. The area surrounding Esk Escape is completely private and enclosed by a high fence except for the river frontage. Here you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine chilling on the small patio area and soaking up the atmosphere. Inside the shepherds hut is a centrally positioned living area with small kitchen, at one end is the cosy bedroom and at the other end, a perfectly formed shower room.

Esk Escape is the perfect place with perfect surroundings... very peaceful and tranquil. Me and my wife stayed for 3 nights and it was just what we needed to unwind and escape our busy life's and give us a master reset. All amenities exceeded our expectations, and the hot tub is superb! We will definitely be returning and making it our annual retreat. Esk Escape will be recommended to all of our friends and family! Thanks again for an amazing long weekend! :)

This Shepherds hut is perfect for a relaxing break. The location is amazing - very private and a beautiful view. We used the BBQ, fire pit and the hot tub during our stay. The wildlife on your doorstep was an added bonus - deer, osprey and much more.

Spent 7 days at Esk Escape for our honeymoon, everything here has lovingly been thought out, from positioning, building and furnishing the hut, will forever hold a place in our hearts. 20 out of 10 for us. Ann and Peter are perfect hosts, left details of places to visit and local walk as well, we will be back.
