Don't forget to stop by the local cheesemongers for a wedge of premium Lancashire cheese! Every Thursday, the street market is another fun place to shop. The tranquil Lancaster Canal runs straight through the middle of the town, where you can see the passing canal boats and take in the plethora of wildlife it supports.
