Set behind a lockable gate within private stone courtyard, this charming property has been completed to a luxurious finish. The bedroom features a high quality bed/mattress, a Smart TV, bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe/luggage storage and sink unit.
Through to the kitchen/dining area, which has a circular dining table, comfortable upholstered chairs and sleek kitchen units housing new appliances, crockery, cutlery and other cooking utensils, plus an under counter fridge with small freezer compartment. The kitchen offers a variety of cooking facilities to include a combination oven/microwave, an air fryer, a single convection hob, George Forman grill, kettle, cafetiere and toaster - it is fantastically well-equipped making self-catering a breeze! There is also an additional Freeview TV.
You will find a welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits, along with shower gel and other grooming goodies in the shower room.
The shower room has a modern and sleek design, completed with a walk-in shower, WC and basin.
The outside space comprises of a private courtyard, which features an arbour and a chic table and chairs.
The Studio is set in the heart of Bakewell, one of the most popular destinations in the Peak District. The nearest pubs are within walking distance and local shops are only a 5-minute walk away (Co-op and Spar).
To occupy your time whilst visiting Bakewell, there are many delightful tea rooms and cafes, a traditional market every Monday, the riverside walk, easy access to the Monsal Trail at Bakewell old railway station and further afield are the Stately Homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Of course, there is the entire Peak District National Park to explore and you will find tourist information details in The Studio, together with the Bakewell Visitor Centre where helpful staff will direct you to wherever you want to visit.
An attractive little market town retaining a delightful rural atmosphere and offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as local farmers’ markets. There is an old 17th Century market hall in the town centre and a modern leisure centre with swimming pool nearby. Bakewell is situated within the Peak District National Park and is ideally placed for exploring this beautiful region. Both the rugged Dark Peak and the softer limestone White Peak are within easy reach, and Alton Towers, Britain’s premier theme park, is only a short drive away. There are many stately homes to visit including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall to mention just a few, while the impressive caverns in nearby Castleton and Little John’s burial place in Hathersage are also well worth a visit. Take a trip to Buxton and visit the impressive Edwardian Opera House, designed by Frank Matcham, who also designed the London Palladium.

The owner has made a small space into welcoming haven in the centre of a busy town. The attention to detail with the bee theme. It so well equipped and the thoughtful treats are a nice touch. The parking permit is a great bonus and we had no trouble finding a space directly opposite. We will definitely return.
