Once you've completed your walking tour of the area, use the adjacent Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway (3 miles) to explore the Kent coastline or climb to the top of the Old Dungeness Lighthouse (10 miles) to spot the French shoreline if you're lucky. Families will appreciate a visit to the neighbouring Port Lympne Safari Park (7.5 Miles), while those seeking culture should visit Canterbury, which boasts a gorgeous cathedral and boutique shopping (23 miles).
