Windsor is well-known as the location of Windsor Castle, one of the royal family's official residences. To find the longest path ever, walk away from the well-known castle and up the straight path to Snow Hill, where a statue of George III stands. The riverside provides lovely walks, with a congregation of swans to be spotted on either side of the bridge; and the church of All Saints on Frances Road is worth a visit because it houses a lost altarpiece by the famous Thomas Hardy that was recently discovered behind a screen. Just to the left of the Crooked House on Queen Charlotte Street is Britain's shortest street, which features a building that looks like it might actually collapse at any moment. This picturesque city also features a wide variety of unique boutiques, mainstream retailers, trendy hangouts, delicious eateries, and interesting landmarks and museums. Legoland Windsor Resort is an exciting amusement park that is a hit with families visiting the area with young children.
