Snaptrip says

Kestrel Corner is a well-received cottage in Cornwall, praised for its cleanliness, peaceful setting, and friendly hosts. Guests appreciate the comprehensive directions provided, the cottage's spaciousness, and the surrounding wildlife. While some find the narrow access roads challenging and the water pressure low, the charm of the rural location and the well-equipped facilities generally outweigh these concerns. The property is considered a good base for exploring Cornwall, offering a quiet retreat with beautiful views.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage is consistently described as clean and spotless, with only one mention of dampness in cupboards. The overall impression is of a well-maintained property.

The location is praised for its beautiful views and peacefulness, though the narrow access roads and difficulty in finding the property are noted. Its central position for exploring Cornwall is appreciated.

Guests find the cottage comfortable and spacious, with a relaxing atmosphere. Some mention dated decor and a small TV, but these are minor points compared to the overall comfort provided.

Facilities are generally good, with laundry and recycling mentioned positively. However, several reviews cite low water pressure and issues with the shower, which impacts the score.

While guests mention receiving directions and a warm welcome, there is insufficient information about thoughtful gestures such as gifts to accurately score this category.

It is quite remote and the acces road is narrow. The owner is very friendly and helpfull.

The air-conditioning also worked as a heater which was great as the weather was not behaving itself during our holiday. Unfortunately the water pressure in the bathroom is quite low which means the shower is very not very powerful, although this is understandable as the water in the cottage is not from a mains supply. The water is double filtered direct from a boar on site and I must say it is the first time I have enjoyed drinking water. This cottage is on a working farm and is one of a small complex of 4 converted barns, it is isolated but for us this was part of its charm vast open sky and rural views with absolutely no light pollution.

The only other issue was the DVD player did not work. Well equipped apart from pizza cutter, But these are small gripes, the location is so quiet and peaceful the cottage was so warm and cozy, location is perfect for Cornwall south or North. We will definitely book again as such a lovely stay overall.
