Embark on a journey through Eden Project, known for its global garden housed in enormous tropical biomes, the privately-owned Tregrehan Garden and the eclectic Marsh Villa Gardens for scenic strolls among the colourful flora. Nearby, the village of Bugle provides further amenities, while the town of Par promises a day beside the sea. Within reach are abundant opportunities to enjoy outdoor pursuits, from hiking and bird watching to cycling and beachcombing. Many beaches are also within reach, offering tranquil strolls along the sand and watersports facilities. With something to appeal to every taste, Bumblebee Cottage is the ultimate choice for a memorable Cornish adventure.

Resting four miles northeast of St Austell lies the small village of Luxulyan. The village is best known for the Luxulyan Valley, a beautiful wooded valley in which runs the river Par. It was designated as part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site in 2006 and is now owned by a local charity, helping to keep it beautiful. The village offers a small shop and post office, a local pub (The Kings Arms) and a granite church. There is also a village train station on the Atlantic Coast Line, running passenger trains between Newquay and Par. From Par, trains are available Northbound to Lostwithiel, Looe and Plymouth, or Southbound to Truro, Falmouth, St Ives and Penzance.

The house was clean and spacious. We also really enjoyed the grill outside. The parking was easy. The owners (Claire and Derek) were welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay, and for the eggs they were lovely. We hope to see you again in the future.

Beautiful wished we stayed longer. Exceptional hospitality and just a dream that will be heartfelt. Gold stars from entering being welcome to leaving. The cottage just star quality and the scenery of the landscape garden delux. Fell in love and never seen anything so amazing. Definitely returning at some point and a gem and worth while booking. Highly recommended just to unwind from the pressures of a busy lifestyle or just for anyone seeking the Cornish magic within a short distance of coastline, historic places at the end of the day you can have peace within the beautiful landscaped garden of incredible dragonflies and elegant goldfish/koi fish. Artist paradise.
