Crocus Lodge is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the property's proximity to local attractions. The lodge's setting in a tidy holiday park adds to the serene experience, although some minor maintenance issues are noted.
Most guests report the lodge as very clean and tidy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few mentioned minor cleanliness oversights, such as dirty cupboards and crockery, which slightly affect the score.
The lodge's location is frequently described as peaceful and quiet, with easy access to Cornish villages and attractions. The only drawback mentioned is the narrow lane access from the main road.
Guests find the lodge comfortable, with special mentions of comfy beds and a spacious living area. Some feedback suggests the lounge furniture may soon require updating, which slightly impacts the score.
The lodge is well-equipped according to guests, with additional amenities like books and DVDs. Some guests suggest improvements, such as lighter bedding and the provision of cleaning products, which are taken into account in the score.
While guests mention welcome gifts and appreciate the attention to detail, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtfulness across reviews to provide a score. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

It is a home from home...the setting was so peaceful and a great base to explore Cornwall. The information we received before our stay was so thorough and helpful...we really enjoyed our break. I would recommend staying here without hesitation.

We were and we loved it. Even though the lodge is located near a fairly important road, making it easy to find, we weren't aware of any traffic noise at all. The area was very well maintained â grass cut, hedges trimmed and very tidy. I'd thoroughly recommend it.

. Lovely to have two bathrooms, a very well equipped kitchen, everywhere very clean, beautiful surroundings and the site so convenient for visiting our relatives.
