Bude itself is a lovely town with a wide range of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. If you fancy heading a bit further, sights such as Clovelly, Port Issaac, Padstow and the Eden Project are not to be missed.

The Park itself is situated within the village of Kilkhampton. We are just a 10min drive from Bude or a 5min drive from our nearest beach, Sandymouth. The village offers a choice of two pubs, a coop. Spar, Post Office, independent butcher and a number of other shops including a tea room and take-away. Immediately adjoining Pentire is the Penstowe Manor Resort (a short 5min walk) which offers live entertainment and a kid's club as well as a restaurant and bar. There is also the Stables Bar and Grill.
