Nestled in the peaceful countryside of Porth, on the Newquay Bay Resort in Cornwall is this well-presented lodge, Beachcliff. With fantastic facilities on-site and boasting spectacular views of unspoilt greenery as well as being a stone's throw away from the beach, this lovely dwelling is the idyllic setting for a family getaway. Be greeted by off-road parking, before making your way up the steps and into the lodge. The open-plan living space is sure to be the social hub of your stay, hosting a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Treat your loved ones to a tasty home-cooked meal using the amply-equipped kitchen, where you will also find a handy dishwasher to help with the cleaning up. From here, dine together as you discuss the day's activities, before sinking into the plush sofa to watch TV and cosy up for the evening. When sleep calls, venture off to the bedrooms for some well-earned rest ahead of another adventurous day; the lodge is home to a delightful double with an en-suite shower room, perfect for rinsing any sand of after a day at the beach, as well as two twin bedrooms, perfect for children or friends sharing. When you wake, freshen up in the family bathroom, which gives you the option of an indulgent soak in the bath or a quick shower, and make your way out to the decking to enjoy your coffee with a view. The wrap-around decking provides plenty of seating, meaning you can take your meals alfresco, or even just enjoy a relaxing moment to yourself on the sun loungers. The site itself offers many things to do during your stay, including swimming in the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indulging in a sauna and steam session, and making the best of your evening with dinner and entertainment at the bar/eatery. Be sure to visit the delightful Porth Beach, where you can unwind with a good book while sunbathing, paddle in the shores, or try your hand at some watersports. Children and animal lovers can enjoy a day the superb Newquay Zoo, home to an array of exotic animals over 13-acre gardens. If aquatic animals are more to your interest, take a trip to the nearby Blue Reef Aquarium Newquay to discover the sharks, turtles and many other exotic species. Just a short walk away, is Watergate Bay, with fabulous waves, a surf school, pubs and a café; Newquay is also within easy reach with its stunning beaches, array of watersports, restaurants, pubs, zoo and aquarium. Travel three miles west of Porth to find Fistal Beach for a surf centre and Lusty Glaze Beach.

    The lodge is very spacious everything there that you need, very comfortable, beds and pillows very comfy. Added bonus of a washing machine, iron and ironing board no no holiday washing when we got home
