About this property

Nestled in the quaint Cornish villages of Crowlas is Lauristine Flat. This wonderful, single-storey holiday home benefits from a welcoming, open–plan living space, two well-appointed bedrooms, off-road parking for two cars and a fabulous location close to local amenities and Cornwall’s breath-taking coastline; the perfect choice for families, couples or friends looking to explore all Cornwall has to offer. Utilise the off-road parking before making your way inside to find the open-plan living space where you can unwind on the plush corner sofa in front of the Smart TV while the designated chef rustles up a hearty meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. Dine at the breakfast before stepping outside to savour the last light of Cornwall in the enclosed garden; be sure to raise a toast to your well-earned getaway. When the evening draws to a close, head back inside to wash off the day’s adventures in the shower room before sloping off to sleep in either the double or bunk room. Find local amenities paces away, stock up on all of your necessities at the nearby store or enjoy a much-needed break from the kitchen with a delicious meal at The White Hart. Take a short drive into the iconic coastal village of Marazion where you can amble along its golden shores and, depending on the tide, walk or grab a boat across to the iconic St Michael’s Mount where you can immerse yourself in the past in the medieval castle and admire the sub-tropical gardens. Follow the coast along to Penzance where you can stroll around its idyllic harbour, admire unbeatable views out to sea and sample local produce at The Boatshed! Other must-see attractions include the National Trust’s Trengwainton Garden, Tremenheere Sculpture Garden and of course the stunning South West Coast Path which meanders through a plethora of charming seaside villages! All this and more awaits at Lauristine Flat.

The village of Crowlas can be found in Cornwall. A mile away lies the little island of St. Michael's Mount, where a mediaeval castle and a chapel from the 15th century can be found. There is a causeway and regular boats that can take you there. Nearby attractions include the Cornwall Coastal Walk, ideal for hikers and cyclists, as well as The Hoxton Special, a popular surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing spot, and Penlee House Gallery & Museum, which features the works of Newlyn School and early St. Ives painters. The Star Inn, a local watering hole, serves up some of the best Cornish Real Ale in the area. One mile south of Whitecross and one mile east of Ludgvan is where you'll find Crowlas.

Outside area was good but outdoor furniture cushions stored in a box outside that hasn't been closer properly so cushions dirty and full of insects so couldn't be used. On the advert fir the property it says pet friendly but the location of the property it on A30 which is a main road so would think very carefully before staying there again with my dog as it's an easy escape for them onto the main road.

the seating was stained and one day the weather kept us in and we found the seating to be lacking in comfort. The master bedroom was very close to the main road < the> and there was some road noise but it never kept me awake, All in all a good nine out of ten. Two minutes by car to long rock seafront
