Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean, with several reviews highlighting the spotless condition and well-appointed rooms. The high level of cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.

The location is frequently praised for being convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the seaside. The central location is a strong selling point, despite some comments about street noise when windows are open.

Comfort is a standout feature, with numerous guests mentioning the cosy atmosphere, warm welcome, and particularly comfortable beds. The property is described as homely and inviting, ensuring a relaxing stay.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and modern amenities. However, some reviews note minor issues with maintenance, such as the garage access, a continuously running toilet, and a slow-draining shower, which slightly affect the score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of welcome gifts like wine and chocolates, as well as dog treats. While these gestures are greatly appreciated by guests, it is noted that such gifts, though delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.

About this property

Set across three floors, with flexible sleeping arrangements and within easy reach of excellent amenities, the cottage makes an ideal base for a family holiday in Cornwall. Off-road parking ensures an easy arrival, before entering the quaint blue door of this delightful cottage. Clean, white walls and hard wooden floors grace the interior along with stylish furnishings throughout. After a long day exploring the coast, sink into the leather sofas of the sitting area, with a rug for two well-behaved dogs to rest on, whilst you host a movie marathon on the Smart TV. Follow the stairs down to the lower-ground-floor utility/garage to throw sandy clothes and towels straight into the handy washing machine. Rinse off in the sleek, second-floor shower room whilst your towel toasts on the heated towel rail, before retiring to one of two well-presented bedrooms. Catch your rest in the king-size room with a TV for lazy mornings under the covers, whilst the twin room is ideal for either two younger guests or a second couple thanks to the zip/link feature; both bedrooms offer ample storage space for your holiday essentials. Well situated with everything in walking distance. Great to have the off street parking.

I particularly liked the off-road parking, and although it is as tight as described, our Skoda Fabia fit just right. My son was very appreciative of the smart tv

Perhaps both issues are related. Otherwise no issues. Thanks.
