About this property

Nestled in the charming town of St Just amidst the beauty of Cornwall lies this attractive annex, Pippas Place. Designed with coupes in mind, this ground-floor annex is attached to the owner’s home and provides a sumptuous escape for two, well-situated for exploring this Poldark country. Step into the open-plan living space to find a delightful sofa, ideal for whiling away the hours after a long day, while the sleek kitchen is fitted with gloss white units and a range of integrated appliances, providing a well-equipped spot for preparing meals. Serve the fruits of your labour at the dining table, complimented with a bottle of wine as you toast to a much-needed break. Retire to the double bedroom to catch your rest, complete with an en-suite shower where you can prepare for the day. Start your morning with a fresh coffee within the courtyard, before venturing into the town centre and sampling some Cornish pasties from Warrens Bakery. Get to know your surroundings better as amble down to Nanquidno Cove, a popular spot for bird watching, surfing and spectacular sunsets, before continuing to follow the path along the tall granite cliffs to Gwenver Beach, Sennen Cove and Land’s End or head towards Cape Cornwall and St Just where you will find good pubs, cafes and delicatessens as well as several art galleries, including Kurt Jackson's Jackson Foundation. Be sure to pack your bucket and spade and head for the mesmerising beaches at St Ives and Sennen and the landmark attractions at iconic Land's End, the island topped castle of St Michael's Mount and The Minack, Cornwall's famous open-air cliff-top theatre, are all just a short drive. After embarking on a day’s adventures, return to the peace and tranquillity of Pippas Place, recharging yourself for more tomorrow.

The nearest town to Land's End is St Just, which is around eight miles west of Penzance. The town is an ancient settlement with a long mining history, with various monuments and prehistoric artefacts to see, notably the Bronze Age colony near Cape Cornwall. Because of its location on the edge of the moors and near proximity to the magnificent north shore, St Just is a great base for exploring the far west of Cornwall. Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre in the town's centre that was once used for miraculous plays and is now utilised for the Lafrowda Festival.
