Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like cream teas and wine, and the property's proximity to the beach and local attractions. The cottage's charm and the peacefulness of its location are consistently mentioned, making it a beloved choice for a relaxing holiday.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as spotlessly clean, with particular mention of a clean kitchen and bathroom. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and appeal of the property.

The location is frequently highlighted for its tranquillity, proximity to the beach, and beautiful sea views. It serves as an excellent base for coastal walks and exploring Cornwall, although accessibility may be a concern for those with mobility issues due to steep paths.

Comfort is a strong point for Driftwood Cottage, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially noting the log fire. The presence of a warm and welcoming atmosphere adds to the overall comfort.

The cottage is well-equipped with necessary amenities, though some guests noted the absence of a freezer and the basic level of WiFi. The traditional charm may come with low doorways, which could be a minor inconvenience for taller guests.

Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures such as welcome gifts of cream teas, wine, and flowers. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it is important to note that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Have stayed a few times now. Every convenience catered for and very comfortable indeed. A short walk to a stunning beach which now seems dog friendly year round. So many lovely places to visit on the doorstep. Charles Town along the coastal path. Pretty Mevagissy a few miles down the road by car. A little favourite of ours is a bit further a field Chapel Porth Cove near St Agnes, lovely beech with caves and the famous iced hedgehog ice cream-not to be missed….thanks for another dreamy stay.

We had a super stay! Tks Helen!

Lovely quiet position but if you sat out the front there was plenty of opportunity to chat with the neighbours. Beautiful cove. I would have preferred a harder mattress, as I get occasional back problems, but apart from that it was an ideal stay.
