Ocean View in Carbis Bay boasts stunning sea views and a prime location for exploring Cornwall. Guests praise the spacious, well-equipped apartment and the prompt service for maintenance issues. While some guests mention minor issues with comfort and maintenance, the overall experience is highly regarded, making it a desirable holiday rental.
Most guests found the apartment to be clean and well-presented, though there were a few mentions of dust and subpar cleaning in some instances. The majority of feedback, however, suggests a satisfactory level of cleanliness.
The location is consistently praised for its great views and convenience for local exploration and access to the train station. It is highly valued by guests for its proximity to the sea and St Ives.
The apartment is generally found to be comfortable and spacious. However, there are comments about the mattresses not being the most comfortable and issues with light from exterior lighting affecting sleep quality in the master bedroom.
Facilities are well-regarded with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and bonus features like Sky+. However, there are several reports of missing items, non-working lights, and issues with Wi-Fi, which suggest room for improvement in maintenance.
While some guests were delighted with welcome touches like a cream tea, there is insufficient information to determine a consistent level of thoughtfulness across all stays, and as such, it is important to note that such gifts are not guaranteed.

Gone are the little luxuries of previous years: the Bose radio, the Villeroy & Boch china, the under pelmet lights in the kitchen weirdly disconnected, the light on the extractor fan gone too.... It's a long list. The little welcome pack has disappeared too alongside small bars of soap in the bathroom. It is a spartan regime now and we won't be returning. The owners appear not to understand that little things matter: so only two black bags for the bins really is annoying and cheap kitchen roll that doesn't do its job is noticed too. That said the apartment is still comfortable with great views, but the profit maximising frugalism of the owners left a nasty taste in our mouths. We can do better for the price charged and so could the owners. You don't build return bookings by showing your guests that you really don't give a damn about their experiences.

! Easy access to the train station and the beach is lovely. Things to note, the large sofa is broke, I called immediately on arrival to report this. I was told someone would come out and have a look but we didnât see anyone. This really could do with repairing/replacing, also the mattress in the main bedroom is very soft with a dip in the middle so this could also do with renewing. The cold tap at the kitchen sink fell off and just needs a small screw to fix it. But we would definitely book again, the cleanliness was great and the apartment is well equipped!!
