The Beach Hut in St. Ives is highly praised for its cleanliness, prime location near the beach and town, and the comfort it offers. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the lovely touches like cream tea on arrival, and the convenience of having a parking space. The views and proximity to local attractions make it a desirable stay, despite some comments about tight parking and a challenging staircase for those with mobility issues.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, mentioning it was 'spotless' and 'clean'. There are no negative comments about cleanliness, indicating high standards are maintained.
The location is frequently praised for its proximity to the beach and town. However, some guests mention steep walks and the view being partially spoiled by a window issue, slightly reducing the score.
The property is described as comfortable, with a 'lovely comfy bed' and 'airy' rooms. One negative comment about a very soft mattress affecting guests' backs slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen. However, there are some concerns about maintenance issues like the front window and staircase, which suggest room for improvement.
While many guests mention the thoughtful touch of a cream tea on arrival, it is not possible to guarantee such gifts for future guests. Therefore, a score cannot be provided as it would not accurately reflect a consistent offering.

A little difficult to find initially, very tight parking especially when next door parked two cars. Overall a lovely stay in St Ives

The bed was really comfortable, plenty of storage space in the bedroom. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating area. It was great to have a dedicated parking space in St Ives. Only a short walk from all the sights.

. on a clear day the views out of the living room window to the sea were lovely, relaxing.. it has a parking space which is a bonus just a bit tight to park. Close to the centre and beaches of St Ives. The only thing I would say is you have mobility problems you would struggle to negotiate the spiral stair case and the streets are steep to and from the centre and beaches.. I would recommend otherwise and hope to stay again in the future..
