Gullsway: September Tide is praised for its fantastic location with easy beach access and stunning sea views. Guests appreciate its cosy charm and value for money, despite noting that the property's interior, particularly the kitchen, appears quite tired. The property is considered basic but functional, suitable for guests with pets and children.
Several reviews mention the need for improved cleanliness, including attention to skirting boards, windows, and general upkeep. Dog hairs and unclean kitchen cupboards were specific concerns.
The location is consistently lauded for its proximity to the beach and coastal path, offering magnificent views and easy access for a relaxing holiday.
While the views and bedding are appreciated, guests have reported issues with uncomfortable sofas and a musty smell in one of the bedrooms. The property is described as cosy, but some discomfort has been noted.
Guests have reported a lack of kitchen equipment, mismatched china, and inadequate cleaning tools. Maintenance issues like a tricky electric shower and missing light bulbs were also mentioned, indicating a need for upgrades.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

The parking and paths were extremely muddy and slippery, being on a slope, paving could be improved. We spent 2 weeks at September tide and was grateful for housekeeping dropping off fresh bedding halfway through our stay and for maintenance quick repair to the shower arm. A big negative for us was the poor pressure of the only shower, a power shower is a must for this property.

It is not posh in any way but we like that, and it has magnificent views over the sea. This year after all the rain everywhere was much muddier than it has ever been at Easter. The tarmac path by the main house down to the field towards the gate to the coast path was slippery when it was wet - not sure what it would be possible to do, except be aware.
