As you enter the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area of Sea Mist, one of the first things you will notice is the mesmerising sea view, and the amount of light filling this spacious, social area from the large bi-folding door. Settle in and unpack before heading out on to the terrace with a well-deserved drink to admire the views, or head to one of the four lovely bedrooms for a rejuvenating snooze!

The allure of the seaside is hard to ignore, and it surely won’t be long before you pack up your beach bag, gather your buckets and spades and walk 10-minutes down to Polzeath’s sandy stretch below. Fear not returning with sandy toes and equipment, as Sea Mist boasts a very handy outside shower.

The picturesque village of Polzeath is home to many great eateries and shops, including The Cracking Crab, where you can sample some succulent freshly caught seafood. If you are looking to venture to more coves, beaches, villages and beauty spots along this amazing coastline, the South West Coast Path offers walking opportunities galore, allowing you to find countless secret inlets, pretty bays and fun filled communities – like the interesting village of Rock, approximately three mile walk along the cliffs. Here you can try new watersports, including kayaking on the Camel Estuary, or cross the water on the ferry to popular Padstow for a delectable ice cream.

Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. I speak as I find. As my self and my husband are getting on a bit we decided to have a change round of property. Sea Mist was just what we were looking for. Great location, great aspect for the beach. The property was the cleanest we have ever had. The owners have definitely thought about what people need. There wasn’t anything that catering for a large amount of people I couldn’t find. The walk in wet room great for us oldies. ( I have had 3 hip replacement) Grandchildren loved the hot tub. Flat grass area great for a few games of bowls. Outside shower a god send when coming off the beach in wet suits. Items in the bungalow are of good quality and practical. My list could go on…The only down side was our English weather!!! I definitely recommend this place. We hope to be back. Thank you to the owners. Sally and Tony

Great views. Really appreciated the outdoor shower. We had a lovely week. Our only concern was that the hot water temperature in the kitchen tap and in the shower (in the non-bath bathroom) were rather too hot. Even on the coldest setting the shower was too hot to put a young child under. We were all adults so could manage, however the kitchen tap was really tricky to get hot without almost scalding yourself. Perhaps this could be dialled down a bit?
