Ocean View is a well-received cottage in Cornwall, praised for its spectacular views, comfortable and well-equipped interiors, and entertainment options like a games room and hot tub. It serves as a great base for exploring the area, though some guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance.
Most guests found the property clean and well-presented, though there were a few mentions of overlooked areas and minor issues such as loose toilet seats and presence of pet hair, suggesting room for improvement.
The location is highly regarded for its stunning views and tranquility. It's considered remote by some, which is ideal for a peaceful retreat, but may not suit those looking for proximity to shops and services.
Guests consistently report the property as comfortable, with ample space, cozy beds, and a homely feel. The presence of a games room and hot tub adds to the comfort level, although there were minor concerns about slippery decking.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the games room and hot tub being highlights. However, some guests encountered issues with kitchen equipment and suggested the addition of items like a BBQ and better parking arrangements.
While guests appreciated the well-equipped property and the inclusion of items like a coffee machine, there were no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

It is quite remote but we were expecting that so did a food shop before we travelled and got any extras when we were out exploring. House itself is very homely. The hot tub and games room enticed us to book and were highlights! Views from the house are stunning. Lighting could be improved throughout the house and there seemed to be a bit of a fly problem but that aside, would totally recommend if you want a holiday escaping it all, enjoying the views and the local area.

So very peaceful. Note, it's remote with no local shop but farm shop 15 mins drive supplies a great array of products plus has a hot food cafe. Games room was great for the couple of rainy days we had whilst staying there for a week. Hot tub a joy after the days exploring the rame peninsula. My partner has mobility challenges, but managed the stairs down to bedrooms and decking area ok. Might be challenging for others. Large outside area fab for enjoying the peace and quiet whilst taking in sea view. Lovely to have use of the telescope and binoculars to watch the fishing boats and dolphins playing. Space for one car in the drive which is on a slope, but plenty of parking on road. Highly recommend Bewsheas tapas restaurant just a short walk down the hill. Loved staying here and highly recommend if you are looking for something off beaten track and quiet beaches. Pure relaxation. Thank you Ocean View.
