Carnon Downs 1.6 miles. Located in the Cornish village of Penelewey near Carnon Downs is Pheasant View, a delightful, one-bedroom annexe. Ideal for a couple and their furry companions, Pheasant View offers a well-positioned abode for exploring both the coast and countryside, nestled near the breath-taking waters of River Fal. Benefit from one off-road parking space, before stepping indoors to be greeted by an open-plan living space; here you can rustle up romantic meals for two, dine together, and unwind in front of the wood effect fire after an action-packed itinerary of sightseeing. As day turns into night, climb into the sumptuous king size bed, awakening to a refreshing shower in the sleek en-suite. If you can tear yourself away, head to The Punchbowl and Ladle to sample some local fare and enjoy a tipple, whilst a convenience store rests in nearby Playing Place, where you can stock up on the essentials to enjoy a relaxing night in. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy discovering Loe Beach or trailing the grounds of Trelissick Garden, a National Trust landmark. Nearby is the King Harry ferry, which takes you the lovely St Mawes, where you'll find a picturesque fishing village and beaches. Fans of classic cars will enjoy a visit to Perranwell Station which gives you the opportunity to hire a Morgan car for the day. Also nearby in the Bissoe Valley is Bissoe Bike Hire where you can hire a bike and enjoy the sights of the old mining works and beautiful wooded valleys as you cycle coast to coast from Portreath to Devoran or just enjoy a snack in the café. Cornwall’s only city, Truro has a magnificent cathedral, the Royal Cornwall Museum, the Hall for Cornwall, which is a theatre and concert venue, as well as a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. In Falmouth you will find a natural harbour - the third largest in the world. Here you will find boat trips up the Carrick Roads, safe beaches, the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle, which was built by Henry viii and is the town’s most popular attraction.
