Guests say

Tide Pod in Cornwall offers a prime location with stunning beach views and easy access to local amenities. Guests appreciate the property's modern decor, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. While some cleanliness and maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests eager to return.

Reviews indicate a mix of experiences regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property well-kept, while others noted areas needing improvement, such as the shower and lounge floor. The presence of mould and dust in some reviews suggests room for enhancement.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and local shops, with guests consistently noting it as a highlight and a strong reason for their enjoyment and desire to revisit.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property welcoming. However, some mention that the sofa is uncomfortable and the underfloor heating had issues, indicating that while the property is generally comfortable, there are aspects that could be improved.

The property is well-equipped, but several reviews mention the absence of a microwave and issues with the underfloor heating. The presence of a Dyson cleaner and induction hob are positives, yet the lack of a vacuum cleaner and other maintenance concerns slightly lower the score.

While some guests missed a welcome pack and noted the absence of small touches that could enhance their stay, the responsiveness of the property management to issues raised is a positive aspect. It should be noted that while welcome gifts can be a delightful surprise, they are not guaranteed.

Beautifully modernised property with a fantastic view and location. We absolutely loved the cooking facilities and the rainforest shower. Just a couple of minor things that we would like to mention, bearing in mind this did not disrupt our holiday experience, the freezer could have done with a defrost to allow the fridge door to close properly, and in the bathroom the sink plug could possibly need a clean as the water flow wasn’t draining that well. Other than that we had an amazing stay and would definitely come again.

Easy to carry surfboards from storage area to the beach . Wi fi ok most of the time. Could not find pegs for the washing line so purchased and left . Kitchen appliances and utensils fantastic . We stayed in and watched the sunset most evenings. Already tried to book for next year but unable to .

The property itself is clean, well equipped & the beds are comfy. However there are just two issues I would like to share & bring to your attention. 1. The sofa is quite uncomfortable & it was noted that the seating cushions have gone very flat & in desperate need of refilling. If this is not possible a new comfy sofa would be appreciated. 2. Also again, had some issues with the underfloor heating coming on in certain areas & feel it would be most helpful if the instruction manual could be made available & left in the property. Overall a brilliant stay & hope to return. Thank you
