Sitting in the Blackdown Hills aonb, this stylish single storey property makes the perfect getaway for friends or family to explore the gorgeous local countryside and Jurassic coast. Kids and canines will love the huge lawn, and kids big and small will love the games room too; there’s an excellent pub just 2 miles away and the nearest beach is 15 miles.

Head inside to the gorgeous kitchen/dining room, with a utility room next door, it’s bright and stylish and makes a wonderful social space for preparing and enjoying meals together. There’s plenty of sofa space in the lounge where you can spend the evening cosying up watching movies together in front of the electric fire. Challenge the kids to a game of darts or pool in the games room garage, the perfect hangout. Head to bed in the three attractive bedrooms with stylish, elegant furnishings, a king-size room with en-suite shower room, a 4ft double and a twin room, there’s also a family bathroom for a long soak or a quick shower. Heading outside to the spacious garden, sit and enjoy your surroundings with a nice cool drink while the youngsters and canines let off steam.

Tale Head is a beautiful, well equipped cottage in a tranquil location. It had everything we could possibly have needed. Hosts are helpful but not intrusive. The games room provided perfect entertainment for our teenagers. Definitely somewhere we would love to return to. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at Tale Head, The cottage and garden were perfect for us (dog loved the garden!). The cottage is well furnished, very clean & in a quiet location. It was a great base for us to explore Devon & Dorset. Would definitely recommend. The hosts kept us informed.
