Snaptrip says

Pebble Cottage in Sidmouth is praised for its cleanliness and being well-equipped for a family holiday. However, some guests have noted issues with dampness and warmth, as well as difficulties in locating the property due to inadequate signage.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is generally found to be clean, but there are mentions of damp towels and rubbish left behind, which suggests room for improvement in ensuring the property is ready for new guests.

The location has been described as misleading, with the property situated on a dilapidated holiday camp and difficult to find due to poor signage, negatively impacting the overall experience.

Guests have reported the cottage as being on the colder side and suffering from dampness, which detracts from the comfort of the stay.

There is insufficient information to accurately score the facilities as no specific mention of them is made, except for the need for a wheelchair ramp which suggests a lack of accessibility features.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The photo of the cottage is misleading, and doesn't tell the whole story. This property is on a dilapidated holiday camp, and the road in is the road to hell. There are no facilities whatsoever, and it was a mistake to have booked it. My wife has limited walking ability, which didn't help. It is what it is, and a score of 2 out of ten would be flattering.

Arrived to dishes on drying rack (not a big deal) and damp towels including the best large bath sheets on the bathroom floor, and rubbish still in the kitchen bin—very off-putting. Folded towels in chest also felt slightly damp and parts of the bungalow have a damp/musty smell. I did keep humidifiers running constantly and windows open when possible to alleviate this, but the smell persists. Also, I turned on the water heater and waited several minutes, and the water from the kitchen sink didn't get hot.

Once we had arrived on site we had trouble locating the property. It is not signed as Pebble Cottage. The cottage is not very warm and a little on the damp side.
