This is a rural area of Devon which is tranquil, unspoilt and where ruby cattle are seen grazing amongst the rolling green meadows. There are many scattered villages with welcoming inns, well stocked farm shops and friendly locals. Crediton has a wide range of shops selling gifts and groceries, a fabulous farmers’ market, modern leisure centre and plenty of family friendly pubs. Crediton is less than 10 miles from Dartmoor National Park which provides excellent walking and horse riding opportunities and a half hour drive from the beautiful city of Exeter where there are theatres, stunning cathedral, shopping malls, and historic quay with waterfront cafes, antique shops and bars.
