The lodge's location is celebrated for its peacefulness, beautiful countryside views, and proximity to wildlife. Guests enjoy the seclusion and the convenience of local attractions, although one review mentioned the postcode being slightly out, which could affect the score slightly.
Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the beds cosy and the overall atmosphere of the lodge conducive to relaxation. There is a single mention of uncomfortable beds, but this appears to be an outlier.
Facilities are highly rated, with the hot tub being a standout feature. The kitchen is noted as well-equipped, and the inclusion of games and a dog-friendly environment adds to the positive feedback. The detailed instructions for appliances also indicate good maintenance.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of extra touches like welcome treats and dog baskets. While these are greatly appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, although likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.
