A beautiful lodge renovated to an extremely high standard and well equipped. A real home from home. The location was perfect for us and our two dogs, one a rescue; so having the woodland walk & lake to ourselves was amazing. We had a wonderful week, we spent some time at the lodge relaxing & watching the different array of birds & wildlife and the rest of the time exploring beautiful Devon. We’ve already booked again for next year, we can’t wait to head back to this amazing Lodge!

Bourne Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect for us; utterly peaceful in the middle of nowhere, but not too far away from shops for supplies. The lodge itself was very clean, well equipped and with loads of space, also well provisioned for dogs (the treats, bowls and other bits were a lovely touch). Beds were very comfy, kitchen spacious, although being a technophobe it took a bit of time to master the induction hob. Will hopefully come again, and definitely be recommending to friends.

Awesome lodge, so comfortable and luxurious, huge garden and secure grounds for family and dogs to explore. If you want a place to get off the treadmill of life and go off grid to totally relax this is the place. We had the best sleep ever in the most comfortable bed, and then with our coffee in the morning (with a selection of pods provided for the Nespresso machine) was amazing to watch the deer, birds of prey, and lots of other wildlife right on the doorstep. Off the beaten track, but we found superstores to deliver a weeks shop. Or if you prefer it’s a short drive to local stores. Great base to visit Devon, Somerset and Cornwall. Communication and Info from the owners prior to our visit was spot on, and so welcoming. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely be going back. A slice of heaven.
