Picturesque Dartmouth is home to pretty, narrow streets offering art galleries, tea rooms and individual shops. Visitors can enjoy steam train rides, river cruises and watersports galore. With the fascinating Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth Castle, and two National Trust properties nearby (Coleton Fishacre and Greenway), there is so much to enjoy. Spend the day exploring the Start Bay coastline, a 10 minute drive away, before returning to Dartmouth for award-winning fish and chips, and a quiet evening watching life on the River Dart from Leeside.
The property has a very comfortable sitting/dining room, the perfect spot for observing the view. The adjacent kitchen is very well equipped. There are two bedrooms in total, accommodating four people. The master bedroom has a King-size bed, whilst the second room is a twin (ideally set up for children), with two small single beds. There is also a family bathroom and a separate cloakroom.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
