Guests say

7 Dart Marina is a well-received apartment with stunning views and a prime location in Dartmouth. Guests praise its cleanliness, spaciousness, and the tranquillity it offers. While some guests find the beds too firm and the kitchen appliances basic, the majority are delighted with the property, often rebooking for future stays.

The apartment consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with many guests noting it as spotless and well-maintained. One minor mention of dust on an appliance suggests room for improvement, but overall, the standard of cleanliness is very high.

The location is highly acclaimed for its stunning river views, easy parking, and proximity to local amenities. It's considered ideal for exploring Dartmouth and the surrounding area, contributing to a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests find the beds too firm and the sofas too soft, others are very satisfied with the comfort provided. The presence of both positive and negative feedback suggests that comfort is subjective and varies per guest.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and quality furnishings. However, there are several comments about maintenance issues such as the shower door hinge and appliance instructions, indicating some areas for improvement.

While some guests miss personal touches like welcome gifts, which were more common in private bookings, the reviews do not provide enough consistent information about thoughtfulness in terms of gifts to accurately score this category.

The ability to fold back the windows in the light and airy lounge is a major benefit. The kitchen is also extremely well equipped, except for standard wine glasses. We are oenophiles and believe that you need good glasses to appreciate good wine - we went and bought some. Our guests were fine with their beds, but we found the bed in the main bedroom far too hard for our liking. Also, the fans in the bathrooms don't work. However, these niggles were outweighed by the many good points.

This is our second visit as we were at 7 Dart Marina last year. The only comments I would make this year are that we were slightly disappointed with the maintenance. The door trim was obviously missing from the refrigerator which did look rather neglected. Secondly, the supply of wine glasses was rather limited with an assortment of different sizes. We had some friends round to join us for dinner one evening and this proved to be a little problematic. Thirdly, the duvets were a little too warm for the season which made sleeping a little difficult. Aside from this we had, once again, a most enjoyable stay. I mention these items because as we pay a high amount for the property then one does expect things to be well maintained and the clients comfort taken care of. We will, however, gladly book the property again.

This apartment No 7 is excellent for comfort and convenience. Parking right outside door, such a joy in Dartmouth. I suppose the days of booking privately are more or less gone, but I do miss the bottle of wine, chocolates or cookies and milk left by the owners. I am now used to the offering from the letting agencies so bring all necessary groceries with me. I know that there is a small supply of tea and coffee making facilities. The staff in the office in Dartmouth are lovely and the cleanliness of No 7 cannot be better, so all in all would recommend this apartment to anyone, and will definitely be back!
