Spinnaker Cottage is a characterful property praised for its superb location in Salcombe, offering stunning views of the estuary and convenient access to local amenities. Guests appreciate the cosy and comfortable setting, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and the bonus of spa passes. While some guests noted areas for improvement, the charm of the cottage and its prime position are consistently highlighted.
The cottage generally seems well-kept, though some guests mentioned windows could be cleaner and one noted the balcony needing attention. There are no significant complaints of uncleanliness, suggesting a good standard overall.
The location is highly praised for its central position, proximity to shops, cafes, and the harbour. The views are frequently mentioned as fantastic, though some guests noted noise from late-night revellers and challenges with parking.
Guests find the cottage cosy and the beds super comfortable. However, some discomfort was expressed regarding a damp and dark basement bedroom, and issues with a TV not working properly.
Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen. However, the lack of a washer/dryer, difficulties with TV reception, and ongoing construction work have affected some guests' experiences.
While guests have mentioned the inclusion of spa passes, there is not enough information to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the host in terms of gifts or special touches. Therefore, this score is set to null.

It is what it is - an old and quirky cottage. If you like right angles this isnât for you. The floors slope but you get used to it although donât leave an orange unattended on the kitchen table or itâll roll off. Brilliant central location and stunning views.

If you suffer from vertigo then this is not the place for you the floors are so uneven. The little balcony only got the sun for a short time. The car parking outside the house was very noisy and busy. The king-size bed was so comfortable. The latches on the living room stable door extremely hard to manage. The parking was the worse....the space on Gould Road by the Co op was a good 10 min walk if your fast walker as it's the other side of the town. Over all a lovely house
