It is quite cosy downstairs, as we discovered when two friends joined us for a couple of days, but the bedrooms were spacious and the extra bathroom was very welcome. Parking in the nearby car park was no problem - and we were relieved to find that was space to unload/load outside for 30 minutes. An issue with a missing frying pan was swiftly resolved by the housekeeper & owner (although we later noticed that only one of the provided saucepans worked on the induction hob). But given the tight dining space (a table with foldaway chairs might help), it’s probably better to plan to eat out at one of the many nearby pubs in Chagford. Overall a lovely place to stay.
