About 4 miles from the famous, cobbled, cliffside village of Clovelly with its picturesque 16th century cottages winding down to a small harbour is The Cow Shed. In the grounds of a former farmhouse surrounded by meadows, this one time barn is now a glossy, comfortable and romantic cottage - an ideal spot to chill out and forget the rush of modern life. The living space is open plan, with a feature stone wall and wood burning stove. On the first floor, under the eaves, is a lavish double bedroom with a smart en suite shower-room. Outside is a private, patio with a table and chairs and you are welcome to use a large, enclosed garden around the cottage. For the stout of heart, you can access the stunning Coast Path, which winds its way down into Clovelly. From here, you can take a seasonal fishing or day trip to Lundy Island or visit one of the nearby family adventure parks. With lots to see and do nearby, The Cow Shed is an ideal base from which to see this beautiful part of North Devon.

The picturesque fishing village of Clovelly occupies a secluded, cliffside position and attracts visitors from the world over. A pedestrianised, cobbled street winds its way down the hillside passing the colourful gardens that characterise the village's pretty, whitewashed cottages, on its way down to the sheltered harbour.
