The White House is located in a wonderfully convenient spot in the popular village of West Lulworth, with renowned Lulworth Cove in easy walking distance and iconic Durdle Door in easy reach.
Situated in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and approximately half a mile from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, is this wonderfully spacious home from home. Famous Lulworth Cove can be easily reached on foot, as can the start of the coastal footpath to iconic Durdle Door.
The White House includes a large sitting room with wood burning stove and comfortable seating, a well-equipped kitchen and a good-sized family dining area with doors out to the attractive garden with a dining terrace. There is also a study/snug, a useful utility room and a cloakroom. The four bedrooms include a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a second king-size bedroom, a twin bedroom with the flexibility of linking together to make a third king-size bed; and bedroom four has a double bed. There is a stylish family bathroom with shower.
The village enjoys a variety of amenities, including a village store (seasonal), pubs, restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. Ideally situated for trips to the nearby towns of Dorchester, Weymouth and Wareham, the delights of Wareham Forest, Corfe Castle, Purbeck, and Kimmeridge Bay are also all within easy reach. Guests can enjoy learning about this fascinating unesco World Heritage Jurassic coastal area from the Lulworth Cove Visitor Centre.

Absolutely fantastic- ideal holiday retreat

The house was lovely and immaculate, as always. But within minutes of arriving our granddaughter was rushed to A&E with a crushed finger. It was trapped in a self-closing door. We have not had these before in a rental property. There was no warning about them so we were unable to warn her to be careful. She was very lucky not to lose part of her finger and required an xray , she will lose her nail but hopefully it will regrow if the nail bed is not too damaged. We feel a CAUTION NOTICE should be given in the pre-booking details as well as in the house information pack left for visitors at the house. You were aware we had small children in our party as we had requested a highchair and cot. Also on a less serious matter there was no warning given about barbecues not being allowed at this property, Which would have been helpful to know.

A very well equipped, spacious and comfortable house in a great location. The walk to the cove is easy, with a footpath for much of the way above the road. The very good welcome hamper was much appreciated as were the books , including a range of children's books which were thoughtfully provided.
