The house was spotlessly clean, smelt beautiful with many diffusers around (a first for me and a lovely touch), was roomy and had everything we needed especially a downstairs bedroom for my 96 year old mum with the kitchen next door for her early morning cuppa.. Good parking and in a great position on the island to view the many attractions. I can highly recommend this property and would stay again if holidaying in the area.

The photos did it justice and the facilities were excellent. One slight down was the lack of storage in the kitchen, but the biggest negative was the lack of curtains or black out blinds for the bedrooms. In addition to the street lighting, it stays light late and gets light very early in May and the Venetian blinds, although were excellent for privacy, were hopeless for darking out the bedrooms. I was fine, but my Mum and sisters also struggled with the road noise behind the house - they are just not used to having a through road near their homes.

The house is well furnished with some nice touches and the patio was a good place to sit in the afternoon. The kitchen was well stocked although some storage space for our food would have been welcome. There was parking for 2 cars and an easy drive to Weymouth and a good place from which to explore Portland.
