Guests say

Wesley House is a well-received holiday cottage in Somerset, praised for its high-standard kitchen equipment, cleanliness, and comfort. While one guest experienced initial heating issues, the property is generally considered warm and welcoming. Its location is ideal for exploring the area, and the unique Harry Potter engravings add charm. The garden could benefit from some attention, but the property's overall appeal remains strong.

Guests have noted the cottage to be extremely clean, with one specifically mentioning the ease of cleaning tiled floors, which is particularly convenient for those with pets.

The cottage's location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and a gastro pub. However, one guest mentioned it being close to the road, which may be noisier than some are accustomed to.

The comfort of the beds and the overall size of the house have been commended. One review mentioned a heating issue, but this seems to be an isolated incident rather than a common experience.

Facilities are highly regarded, especially the kitchen equipment. However, there is a mention of the dining room being too cold to use and the garden needing maintenance.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness of the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

It worked really well for us. The only thing we missed were egg cups for boiled egg breakfast. Not sure if we just couldn't find them but if not they would be a good edition. Also a high chair would be good. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great location for visiting local places of interest. Pilton is a very pretty village and has an amazing gastro pub (definitely recommend a visit). The local co-op is very useful and has a decent array of essentials. The garden could do with a bit of TLC. The time of year of our visit meant that we didn't spend much time at all in the garden. But, a little tidy up by cutting back shrubs and removing weeds would make it so much better. The cottage was very close to the road but didn't really cause any concern. Noisier than we're used to but there's nothing that can be done about that. Overall a very good holiday cottage.

Funny to talk about the floors, but with dogs and a bit of a rain, it was lovely to not have to worry about paw prints on a carpet, we could just easily clean the tiled floors. The beds were superbly comfortable, the kitchen and dining room had everything we needed. The house is a lovely size for 6 people (though we had 5 and 3 visitors who dined with us). It was perfect. Many thanks. Many thanks.
