A lovely place to stay if you like walks in beautiful countryside. The beach is pretty but not suitable for swimming and you wouldn't want to sit on it for very long as the pebbles are very large. The walk to Culbone church is well worth the effort. The beach is pretty but not suitable for swimming and you wouldn't want to sit on it for very long as the pebbles are very large. The walk to Culbone church is well worth the effort. The walk up from Selworthy to Selworthy beacon is also lovely and there is a very picturesque tea room in Selworthy serving excellent cakes. The food at Porlock Weir hotel is expensive but delicious and it's easy walking distance. There is also a pub in Porlock Weir which serves food at a decent price.
